17/09/2017: MS DHONI FOURTH INDIAN TO SCORE 100th INTERNATIONAL FIFTIES.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni added yet another feather to his illustrious cap on Sunday as he scored his 100th international half-century in the ongoing first ODI against Australia in Chennai.

Full scorecard
Dhoni scored his 66th one-day fifty to help India post 281/7 against the Aussies at the MA Chidambaram stadium.
The 36-year-old is only the fourth Indian player after Sachin Tendulkar (164), Rahul Dravid (146) and Sourav Ganguly (107) to score a century of fifties on international cricket.

Dhoni once again rescued India from a precarious position as he joined forces with all-rounder Hardik Pandya after the hosts had been reduced to 87/5 in the 22nd over.

Pandya (83 from 66 balls) and Dhoni (79 from 88 balls) forged an 118-run sixth wicket stand to help India post a challenging total.
The 23-year-old Pandya meted out special treatment to Adam Zampa, taking the young leg-spinner to the cleaners on three consecutive occasions to get to his third ODI fifty off 48 balls before falling to the same bowler, later in the innings.
